The fact that recent tests apparently exonerated you from the possibility of bowel cancer isn't really much comfort when the most horrifying of its physical symptoms rears its head during a bathroom visit.
I suppose the hours spent yesterday sitting in a car and eating rubbishy food was really pushing my luck, considering I was just getting over whatever virus I've had recently... I really don't want to go to work today.

I'm uh, poopin' some noticeable quantities of blood here today.

Gonna see the doctor, made sure I don't have buttdeath-itis or what not. Bit nervous. No other symptoms of anything serious yet. No history of this either, so hey. New horizons await.

Maybe this belongs in the terror thread? I'm am mostly sad instead of scary-feeling. Have many plans with family this weekend that are very important, I'd be really unhappy if I had to skip. My little guy is too little to understand if I have go get surgery or something he'd be very distressed.

What colour is the blood? If it's red, this implies a bleed closer to the end of you digestive tract, while black would imply earlier along.

If there's pain in your butt along with it, that might mean you have an anal fissure, which is basically just a cut in the lining of your butt. Could also be a hemorrhoid, which is varying degrees of unpleasantness depending on the type.

A doctors visit is a good idea though, since I'm not a medical pro.
