I just want to stop hating myself. Perhaps then I wouldn't find life to be such an intimidating chore, perhaps then I'd be able to be closer to other people, to make something of myself, to stop sabotaging myself and beating myself up. I just want to enjoy the life I was given instead of hating it.

Sadly, I just finished posting about why you're actually a colossal tool in another thread, but I stand by the first thing I said in that sentence, which is that I generally have a modest-to-reasonable opinion of you.

No I won't belabor any non-point I was trying to make. Actually, it's a tad late but I'll rescind my whole post. I was just talking for the sake of talking, something that is really stupid and I was only doing to try to put my mind off things, and of course I then say something which even I think is stupid and poorly thought out.

Or, more likely, he was exaggerating his reaction in an over-the-top manner for comedic purposes. A technique I am certainly familiar with.

It's funny, the "donk" scene is, I'm pretty sure, the only snippet of that show I have seen. Maybe I should track down some more of it to watch someday.

I might be having a midlife crisis or just be burnt out. But I'm unutterably exhausted and weary all the time lately. Nothing holds my attention and I'm basically floating through life utterly disconnected.
