Don't joke about that man, I have human property and love slaves friends there!

Are you overreacting about this, or was there somthing else that happened?

Yeah, he's a banned spammer. Normally we'd delete this thread too, but people were having too much fun with it by the time we got here.

Ok. Don't joke about that stuff.

Are we really?

I am sad to say that yeah, its kind of inevitable China will have at least a regional conflict with the 'Western' powers. Wouldn't go nuclear though. Well, maybe. Nah. Don't worry about that.

In other news, I am happy I live in the middle of nowhere and have been told since my childhood in the 80's that "the Russians wouldn't bother bombing a bunch of corn fields".

And we're Canada.

All we have to worry about is the inevitable mutations.

China needs alot of money to support their massive growth, and that means selling to the West. So little worry of war there.

Now in the Cold War, nuking the USA's breadbasket into worthless dust would be an excellent first strike, but I'm not sure if it would work out with today's level of international trade.

There's a lot of land out there, you couldn't nuke all of it, but the fallout would get the rest of it. Also, nuking a country that has more nukes than you is a bad idea.

Australia has a millitary? I mean, besides Saxton Hale?

That's one of those things you don't think about until someone else brings it up. What does Australia do with its free time?

I dunno, you guys have survived Thomas the tank engine, golems, zombies, nuclear explosions, laser whales, and being on the same team as ragnarock.  I don't think something as tame as a world ending rain of lava will even slow you guys down.

Box kangaroos and drink beer?

Exactly. Now unless you have an army of trained Kangaroos with brass knuckles, those two activities aren't very conducive to civil defense.

Perhaps they just expect you to shoot the invaders yourself. Nothing wrong with that, that's what Switzerland does. I might move to Switzerland.

I wonder if the Hanford Nuclear reservation is still a high value target for nuclear warfare? I mean, it's not like they're manufacturing plutonium there anymore, right? Right?

...maybe I should move.

[rails] It just hit me hard that I have two jobs, am a part time college student, a father and a husband. When the hell did I become an average American adult!? I thought I was going to be the walk-the-earth type, bound to be a shiftless nobody until I died of frostbite or something.

..it's really weird to feel your expectations of yourself changing. [/rails]
