I'm curious as to how a tank would evolve. Would it climb out of the primordial ooze wiggling it's track-nubs, feeding on smaller jeeps before crawling onto the shore having evolved proper treds?

RIP Stephen Hawking
What with the very shorthanded posts, I thought this was a horrible joke. But apparently it's true.

I looked up to him a lot (and was excited hearing about all his endeavors from academia to other fields, like citing young people's work in his works and other researchy stuff).

After all these years, I'm still trying to comprehend the fact that this guy managed to create significant research and write several books while completely paralyzed in a wheelchair. I can't fathom how long it took for him to actually just record the sentences, let alone come up with them. Truly monumental guy.

And then to think that doctors gave him only two years to live in 1963
