As much as I detest the art style, those tags make the game sound rather interesting.

I wouldn't worry too much about the situation, either - it's most likely either an attempt to freak people out or the op later became embarrassed by what they'd posted and scrubbed it.

It seems I won't be able to attend the event I was really keen to go to on Sunday, as it's out of town in Geelong and I'm expected to do ridiculous, time-wasting bullshit the next day with an early start.
Can't bear to describe the nature of said bullshit again, but it's the bullshit I mentioned in the Laugh thread.

Also, I just realised that over the course of the stressful day I had, (technically yesterday as it is past midnight) I forgot to finish writing down the rather excellent dream I had the night before.
Right now I need to get to sleep. I hope I don't forget any more of it before tomorrow... hopefully any fresh dreams accumulated tonight are able to fit comfortably in beside the previous one.

You should play it anyway, because either way it's entertaining for us.

Definitely try it. IMO, the only things you really need to enjoy the game are a vague familiarity with dating sim/'romance' anime clichés and to not have already spoiled yourself.

E: I should add that the game starts off really cutesy. It'll get serious soon enough.

DDLC is great fun. Don't worry about the Steam tags, it just goes into some dark topics, like depression. Kinda like Katawa Shoujo but not.

Don't spoil yourself though, it's way more fun unspoiled.

Yeah, I wouldn't recommend playing the game if already going through depression, considering suicide, or having a hard time distinguishing between fiction and reality.

Honestly, that game left me thoroughly underwhelmed. Everything after the incident went in a direction that was much less interesting than I expected it to.

I'm so tired and demotivated from being in proximity to my girlfriend in our dead-and-bloated relationship that I never get around to actually scoping out a new place to live. So, instead, the cycle continues and now I'm fixing up her Christmas present.

Went to the behavioral health center at the regional hospital, after I was convinced I needed to talk to someone. That was a few months back. I go in, wringing my hands about the cost, because I have very little income and no health insurance. I fill out the paper work, I keep asking them if I can still refuse service and get out of there. They reassure me, and I head in and talk to someone for about 15 minutes. It's just a very short, ineffective therapy session. They offer inpatient services, I refuse and leave as soon as I can.

A few months later I get a bill in the mail for $400.
