I didn't get a Valentine today.

Well, I did.

I sent myself one.

I just realized how goddamn sad that was.

Can only post from Ipad but cannot download Discord on my ipad(3G cellular network) because my router is broken.

It was a new router, granted, i had to wait for it, and then when it arrives i didn't know the password. When the mechanics are actually out, i checked and found out it's broken, another day without using internet on laptop(and this day i don't go to school, so i'm stuck on the house) Ugh.... Should have downloaded more offline games, i guess.

I didn't get a Valentine today.

I didn't even realise it was Valentine's Day. This is an approach of not caring which I have utilised every year - it's quite fun :P

Apparently there was some sort of shooting not far from here. Can't find much in the way of details at the moment but it basically shut down one of the major freeways.

I'm positive I have a tooth coming out my lower right jaw.

And I'm positive I don't have the room there to support another wisdom tooth.

And from what I can feel (admittedly little, it's still under the gum) it feels like it's coming out at an angle towards my back teeth.

Joy!
Heh, one of mine is stuck under the side of my one molar. Cleaning that spot is not exactly trivial - I always feel like I got a rotten mass of post-food stuck in there.

Go visit a dentist, is what I'm trying to say.

So, I just decided to open up Fallout 4 again, after getting stuck in New Vegas. Man, it's hard to transition from "What is Hegelian Dialectics? If you don't tell me, you're, umm, chip out of luck!" to "SHAWN!!! SHAWN!!!! SHAWN!!!". Really feels like Bethesda dropped the ball here.

yeah i was pretty disappointed with 4, but i tried going back to nv and i just can't, after all the mechanical improvements 4 made. so here i am just sitting and hoping bethesda gets obsidian to make another fallout game with the new engine and maybe doesn't rush them into releasing a half finished product this time. the sheer lack of choice and agency you have in 4 made it really hard to properly get and stay immersed, especially when the entire plot feels like it was written with a straight male protagonist played by a straight male player in mind

Oh, yeah. Vanilla NV's combat ranges from a mediocre, acceptable flatline to godawful. Project Nevada is a must for me, nowadays, also stutter removers.

The Netherlands weeps for the loss of a great artist, and a kind soul.
RIP Dick Bruna, who turned a silly drawing for his daughter into a worldwide famous children's icon.

The original is called 'Nijntje', which translates to something like bunbun or bunsy. Konijn = rabbit in dutch, -tje is put after a word to make it small. So 'konijntje' means 'little rabbit', and 'nijntje' could be a child word for it.

I think it's Miffy in english, and in japanese. It has more names throughout the world.

My screen is dead. I mean, I guess not dead, I'm writing on it, for example. But anyone who looks at it now would be hard-pressed to argue that it wasn't on its last legs. I currently have about half of my screen remaining, although a fair chunk of that "half" is disconnected from the rest, and likely to be swallowed up soon by the creeping blackness, or the multi-colored lines that stain what I can see. I think that I'll be able to hold onto between 1/4th to 1/5th of the screen, but even that may fade with time.

It's pretty shitty. My warranty expired just last month, and so I'll have to spend all of my saving just to have it repaired. And I must have it repaired, since all of my work is on here (and can only be done on this), and more importantly, this where I take notes and everything else; essentially, where my life is. I'll be in the city tomorrow, but unless there is a place that does same-day repairs I'll just have to hope the problem doesn't get worse.
