Out of curiosity, can being a trans on hormones effect grades in a bad way? [...]
No. Not at all. :P
By itself, no. By due process: No. Even as general as stated above--nope. It's not something that affects the mind predominantly that it affects one's grades or is correlated with one's change of grades.
I can accept if someone said "it depends on whether you can control your emotions during the hormone induced madness" but I find it very unlikely that it's "not at all." Are you sure?

I know someone who transitioned in college. I got the impression that the lifting of her dysphoria-depression could only be helpful.

Ice: Yes, very normal. You never grow up, as they say.

Doze: Why assume I used the wrong pronoun? I mean, you're correct that I did, but that seems like a big assumption. Check your privilege level, mate.  >:( (( :P))

@Ice:I am older than you and still don't feel grown up.

I did. :P Just really curious why you said that to me. Though sorry if it made anything... "._."

That's exactly what I meant by 'not at all' by what I said after the first paragraph. o_O
While hormones may affect how you may...feel, it's not extreme enough to really, by itself affect one's performance, like in academic situations.

@Iceblaster: I'm a 33 year old, and I have only felt "grown up" a few times in my life. The real secret to being a grown up is knowing that everyone is faking it because no one has a clue about what they're doing.

I'm spending new years also alone. This time I could proably go and find myself a party but I'm already in forever alone mood so meh.

Can confirm this notion, i hit my 24th year of not feeling like an adult half a year ago, and i'm neither employed or very comfortable with driving despite having had a license for over two years. I'm pretty new to this adulthood bsnss, but it seems to me like it's all about being able to pretend that you're adult rather than having the metaphorical child ripped out of your soul. Either that, or i'm a hopeless manchild. :v

I would not be Yoink if I did not offer encouragement.
Go! Go to a party! As frightening as it may seem you will not regret it once you're there. There are good times to be had! Wallowing may be tempting but partying is far superior and will leave you with fond memories of, y'know, something other than sitting around being sad. Go do it!
