Go for a walk. Read a book. Write. Watch optical illusions. Create political commentary. Do weird stuff just to freak out your neighbors.

Draw squid tentacles on your hands and learn the language of the cuttlefish.  Teach yourself to do imitations and foreign accents.  Use household objects to make things--condiment bottles are great for cathedrals, for example.  Make a blanket fort.  Turn on some bad music and dance.  Do pushups and situps.  Read Watchmen and look for ridiculous zombie apocalypse slash fanfic.  Find stuff that's lying around your room and make a game out of it.

... My hobbies are kind of weird, now that I think about it.

I hate math.
I have a shitload of math homework.

Coincidentaly, what is the proper vernacular for "this variable could be anything and still be equal"?

Oh, I get it.  Let x be the variable of which you speak.  Then x ∈ ℝ.  Alternatively, you can say "x is a real number."

... Of course, if you're working only with integers, natural numbers, or fractions, you have to, switch that ℝ for 𝕫, , or ℚ respectively.

And cans are great for towns.

Also, you are never too old for blanket forts.

Haha, I once made a "flying teapot with turret guns" out of a teapot, some mugs, one of those honey bear squeezy container things, and the teaspoons.  It was one of the best things ever.

I freaking loved my blocks as a little kid :3

Thank God for that.  My skills were getting rusty.

Also, son of a bitch, my summer vacation is already over.  Back to class tomorrow.

It's simple algebra. I thought it was like, undefined or something.
I can't even read that!

?! I have no idea what you're talking about, then... if you're saying "x can take any value," you end up with "x is a real number."  That's all.  Very simple =)

... If you want to know what a real number is, on the other hand, that's a bit more difficult ... I'll just go with the simplified "it's all numbers that can be written with decimals," and leave it at that.

Heh, the first time I heard the term "imaginary number" was in a calvin and hobbes comic. I had assumed they didn't actually exist for years... Or course, Hobbes thinks "eleventy one" is an imaginary number, so I wasn't completely wrong.

I remember some time when I was supposed to declare a variable and ended up with:

"Let x be a sunflower.  Then logic defeats Chuck Norris."

That was a good day...
