I knocked half of one tooth out, fucking wonderful.

By yourself?

It sounds like you may not be able to take care of yourself any more at this point. You must tell someone and help yourself.
It was an accident, I was playing with a pen and something flicked up into my tooth. The tooth had broken before and was partially plastic so it broke off easily.

Knowing Belgium, everyone will vote for themselves out of mistrust for anyone else, and some kind of weird direct democracy coalition will need to be formed from 11 million or so individuals.

Assuming you mean a post you made earlier and not GD's tooth (because that's what I thought you meant at first but that'd be weird), it's not that nobody cares, it's more that people don't know how to respond, or things just get swept along in the thread.

I'd also advise against using the sad thread to fish for sympathy, that strikes me as unstable emotional investment

Hard science is like a sword, and soft science is like fear. You can use both to equally powerful results, but even if your opponent disbelieve your stabs, they will still die.

Counsellors are a lucky dip and it sucks. My counsellor was a bit too soft for my liking, although in hindsight I probably looked for any excuse to avoid her.
Still, it is a very good thing to have someone you can blah all this stuff out to in person, especially in secret.

One lol' bit of advice- avoid discussing the self-harm until you've seen them enough to be super comfortable and candid. They're allowed to break confidentiality if you're a danger to yourself, so I'd suggest only letting the remaining cats from the bag once you're sure they're on your side (and don't trust your first instinct with that either. Some really are shit and Will tell parents, although the rest are ok).

Yeah, he's a banned spammer. Normally we'd delete this thread too, but people were having too much fun with it by the time we got here.

Yeah, I don't know where you got this idea that intentionally causing yourself physical harm is okay, but it really isn't. Please talk to somebody about it or just stop doing it.

EDIT: Yeah, I just noticed you already talked to that helpline, but if that didn't work for you you should still tell someone you know.

Either I'm a super lightweight, or drinking on an empty stomach is MUCH worse than I realised.
I was under the impression that drinking on an empty stomach was never a good idea. I've never so much as touched alcohol though so I don't have the best information regarding that.

@Gamedragon:Yes, that is worrisome.

Seriously, find a therapist.  If you can't find a therapist, or someone you trust at all (that teacher who noticed?) at least try PMing Tiruin?  I mean, I'd offer, but I've no clue how to deal with this.  (If you think PMing me would help by all means do so.)

You can also PM me, but I'd probably be a bit of an ass about it

If you find a way to put a stop to it, let me know. I have problems sometimes when I get angry enough.
