for me I'd rather be great than be happy.
Would being great make you happy though? If not, I'd say you're aiming for the wrong thing.

I'm not saying this just to be pedantic, but also to remind people that you shouldn't beat yourself up because you can't be happy when things are going bad for you.
Yeah, agreed. My point is that happiness is a goal but also subjective. Different things make different people happy. Ergo, different people should be doing different things in order to be happy.

"You need to be happy to live, I don’t.’"
No-one needs to be happy, but eschewing it is depressing as balls. There is literally no benefit and a shitload of problems with not being happy.

It's as if you think that nobody will interfere with someone's happiness for all manner of reasons.

Perhaps the distinction should be made between happiness and fulfillment.

Oh god dammit brain. Why those dreams. They're too vivid.

I woke up with my heart near pounding out of my chest. I'm still feeling the adrenaline wear off.

It's going to be okay.

You can get 5s even on serious fuckups.

It's going to be okay.

As long as you argued it well, nobody's going to care.

Oh.

*hugpats*

It's going to be okay, though.  Seriously.  Don't stress yourself about APs too much, they're not really critical to anything.  Nice to have, but by no means a requirement.

Hey, I thought that and I came out of my finals with distinction in English. Not that that's a guarantee of anything, but it's certainly possible. Chill out. 'sall gonna be 'k, even if it doesn't seem like it. Breath in, breath out, and accept that the die is cast. Stressing about isn't going to make anything better, so find something else to do instead.

G'luck.

It's just the right thing to do.

...It's safer to stick to hugs.  I think.  Unless you're seriously underweight in which case yes, eat food.
