I love the article's assertion that the design is "totally ridiculous as it is well known that kiwis lack the ability to construct even the most basic laser". I feel as though scientific studies are in order to conclusively prove or disprove this assumption.

I just wanna go home. Not that home actually feels like a home at all, but at least then I can just sit in my room with no expectations from anyone. I should have known better than to tell people I was going to do all these things I am now obliged to do. Really, I knew it was a bad idea before I even left on this trip, but by then it was too late and I'd given too many words to too many people.

@Greatorder: I am not sure quite what manner of injury that is, but I hope it heals up soon.
Few things worse than having a recurring injury suddenly reappear after you thought it was finally gone.

In other news, I dislike the phrase "nothing worse than X". Seems to me that saying it is either inviting something worse to happen, or belittling whatever other misfortunes may befall oneself. Stupid brain, taking such harmless exaggerations so literally and freaking out over them.
