As for Sads, well, the main one I can think of right now is that I'm going to my home city just two days after a really good gig at which I could catch up with many friends both old and new. I don't really want to reschedule, since I'm travelling for free on that day and I don't get paid until the day after... but still, it's sad.
Especially since one of the bands is from America, they're cool guys, I haven't seen them in years and they doubtless need as many people as possible to attend their Australian tour so they don't lose as much money as they did the last time they came here.

Depends. Took me around a year to get over my first stupid high-school crush, which lasted for two on top of that. These things tend to take time.
