Because it likely was never that different. General discussion forums tend to work like that.

On the plus side, if you manage to get angry at someone on the internet, sometimes it works better than a cup of coffee

I'm not.

I'm saddened by the fact that I have four essays to write, and only four hours until I get up.

*Mournful fist bump*

I'm more sad that I had all break(A good four days) to finish this and didn't. Jeez. I don't know which feeling is more crummy, the dread of turning in crap tomorrow or the shame in utterly failing.

I just spent all night downloading Hgames.

-_-

I could have played Fallout, or caught up on my sleep... but... no.  I did neither of those things.

The Smoke topic and the Switzerland topic. God why does it seem more and more that this place is becoming like everywhere else on the internet? I seriously think I need to take a break from this place.
That would make me REALLY sad...

The removal of VN alone makes this place better than most of the internet.

I've noticed that the quotient of people on the forums who do not speak English as a first language, or at the very least, well, has ramped up rather sharply in recent months. While I'm not blaming them, as it's perfectly natural not to speak a second language perfectly (don't ask me to speak German, please,) reading their posts painfully slowly to try to glean some hint of meaning from them is rather taxing, and making me sad.

To those of you forumites who've taken the time to learn English more thoroughly than many native speakers, I salute and thank you from the very bottom of my heart.

Programming test.
I probably screwed it up.

I admit I suck at it, but I believe I was well prepared.
Unfortunately I can't think and work well, while under pressure...

Um, Firefox 2+ has a built in spellchecker.  It draws nice little red lines under words.

. . . what animal?

You can't just put stuff like that up and not go into further detail.
