Apparently Twitch has banned streams of Yandere Simulator. It was inevitable.

According to his twitter, the dev isn't sure if it's because of the partial nudity, slaughtering schoolkids, or something else.

I just spent a couple hours trying to apply for a job at a well known company. Their site is terrible, though similar to other sites. I am unable to make it work well.

1.) I tried to type in an hourly wage (required field) and it didn't like that one bit.
2.) It will not upload my cover letter or resume (says it supports DOCX and PDF, I tried both and it encounters an exception with attachment).

I really want this job and am qualified for it but this site has been hell. I'm afraid I may have tripped some sort of internal protocol to screw me over because I tried to save it repeatedly and didn't realize it didn't like me putting "per hour" or a "$" in front of the numbers for compensation. I am getting sick of, "An exception was encountered while uploading Attachment."

Damn it.

Am I just completely screwing up here? Am I not seeing how "Save As" and changing the document type to the accepted version should be working?

Also, should I try to contact the listed webmaster for the site?

Is the only way to apply via the website?
If I were in your position, I would send an email or some such...

Yeah I dunno who to email really. It's a large corporation that seems rather faceless when it comes to that. I know they have HR people, but still. For the most part I'd like to find somebody to email if that'd be possible but yeah.

The problem with uploading things might be because there's a maximum file size for uploading that they haven't told you, and what you're attempting to upload is larger than that.

Fug, I've experienced what it means to be born inferior, sitting at a fancy table with four close friends and you completely outclassed as they regale their tales of life from boyhood to adulthood, just one peg down from being aristocrats (literally, as in amongst their old acquaintances are actual aristocrats). It's an abstract kind of feel, I've met, known and befriended far richer people, and this sort of feel has never affected me. I think it was seeing how they're better educated, better traveled, better styled, mannered, accented and attuned, even to get there I had to travel to the other side of the city to the uptown areas I'd never been to before; that hits you, irrationally and unwanted - but I'd be dishonest to say I did not feel this abstract feel. Good Gods, their lifestyles are so much more different, I'm somewhat incredulous. Quite rare that you feel a feeling you've never felt before, and while it does not make me sad this thread seems most appropriate to place this post. Is this jealousy? Oy vey

I wish we had nobility here because that sounds amazing to me.  Instead I have to settle for fantasy elves, which are not real, or fey, which are monstrous and alien...  Okay maybe fey are close.

Comments?
1. not supported
2. not enough screen space (you literally have 8x16 characters, and one column and one row are always taken up)
3. annoying to type on a calculator
I fully agree with all of these statements...

Also, someone start a fundy thingy for Sirus.

Is it just me, or are people seemingly finding it harder and harder to maintain their chill on these forums? I'm pretty sure there's been an increase in the number of threads getting locked as a result of this.
I was actually just thinking that, mostly about today specifically.  Based on just three unrelated threads though.

I locked the D&D thread because a small disagreement seemed to be ballooning out of control, it'll be unlocked tomorrow.

It's mostly because of the refugee thing in Europe, I think. That's fucked up a lot of discussion culture, in the Euro threads at least.

From my standpoint, it seems like there's a small cohort of relatively new posters who are intent on stirring up shit. But maybe that's just me.

That kind of seems to be a theme in the winter months (for those of us in the northern hemisphere), maybe it has to do with decreased social activity?
