Try Insomnium*, Strapping Young Lad, Sentenced, Is black metal ok? If so, then Naglfar.

Lets see... Einherjer, Disarmonia Mundi, Amorphis, Amon Amarth, Soilwork. I'll stop here. Maybe more later.

Oh god, you guys have horrible music tastes. I like everything you guys dislike.

Or maybe I have bad music taste. But since all taste is relative to myself, I'm going to assume that all of you have bad taste.

Yep. Probably named after Agammenon's dad. And it's also a punk-ish/metalcore band.

Ensiferum... okay. I'll add that to the list, but it doesn't sound like I'd have any luck finding their stuff, from the name.

Hmmm, I've been meaning to try Amon Amarth, for the name alone (so epic). Let me listen to the songs and I'll get back to you. :D

Taste is what your mind perceives as good, and as such, no one really has the right to criticize another person's music preferences.
It's like liking ice cream, and getting mad when you meet someone who doesn't.

I assumed you already had heard Ensiferum, that's why I didn't add it to my list.
And Alestorm is pretty awesome too. Keelhauled always puts me in a good mood.

I donno, I like the new Amorphis better. More melodious.
And this is my favorite Ensiferum song. It's one of their softest ones, but really awesome. And this one is also amazing.

Have you tried Turisas yet? Symphonic viking metal.
