I can has Metal?

I guess I'm getting pretty blah about my current musical selection, though most of it is still near and dear to my heart.

The long and short of it is, I NEEDZ MOAR MEHTAHL

Here's my current list of bands.

So that's my metal. Ignoring the other lists for now, can you guys suggest any more? I've heard of this band called Those Once Loyal, which is apparently Black Metal about 40k(!), but no idea where to get any of their stuff. (Also, awesome old-school stuff.)

And Dragonforce is just terrible.

Add Iron Maiden, Metallica, Megadeth, Pantera to that list girly.

Can't think of anything else right on the spot, but I am a metalhead along with the best of them.

Edit: Well at least you already have Iron Maiden on there. Thank the maker.

Rammstein is sorta metal, like dance metal as they call themselves.

I'm more of a fan of their long, epic songs, like Dance of Death and Rime of the Ancient Mariner and (oh god yes) Passchendaele, which is 8 minutes of undiluted awesome. The Trooper is also amazing and I loved the indignance in Run to the Hills.

Okay, I'll try to look around for some Pantera (I can just borrow Megadeth or Metallica CD's from a friend), but I have a question.

Was St. Anger REALLY that bad? I've heard that it was... apocalyptic.

I outgrew Dragonforce I think a couple of years ago after I found Rhapsody and Sonata Arctica.

Yes, The Trooper is just fucking amazing. I won't even get into Iron Maiden, I'd go on for hours.

Black Sabbath is certainly something to add to your list, but I try to moderate between all the really heavy stuff I like to bust out.

I like godhead, though they are decidedly industrial, and not very metal. 2000 years of human error is their only great album though.

O...peth? is a good progressive metal band.

O...tep? Has horrible vocals.
