I would bet money Andrew has edited things retroactively, except I can't prove anything because it was edited retroactively.

Q: Wait, what?

Once tried to conquer Earth, and succeeded! Too bad it got really, really boring, really, really fast.

One day, we shall all look back on this, and laugh. Sorry about the face, by the way, and the legs, and the eyes, and the arms. In fact, sorry 'bout the whole body.

A: It's a very thin atmosphere, composed mostly of Carbon Dioxide.  There's also a little bit of oxygen, and a scant smattering of H2O during the warmer periods of its orbit, along with a bunch of trace gases.  Some argue that there also could be traces of Methane, which appears and disappears in bursts. This would possibly indicate life on Mars (or at least some sort of process which could produce an organic molecule), but the data is so sketchy, we'll have to wait for a mission specifically designed to measure methane concentrations in the atmosphere before we'll really understand it.  That, or a sample-return mission could also bring back an atmospheric sample, as well as a rock sample.

Q: Should we invest more money in the Mars exploration program, or should we give funding to the Europa people?
