Yes, the scene of my epic fail is here.  A slip and web snatched a confirm that web and pandar were innocent in Beta. :/

Sidenote:  He tried a similar trick in Night 1 to try to figure out whether he was redirected.  He left believing I confirmed that he wasn't.  Of course, it became moot once RedWarrior doublevoted down Eduren

Sidenote 2:  What happened to Web in N1 is what I dreamed for when making this whole thing.  That the Busser and Redirecter did it fully unplanned, and that it turned Web's investigation on a mafia into an 'innocent' was just fun to watch.  A pity just about all of the PRs were wiped out so quickly.

Sidenote 3: I have no clue if anyone cares to run it again, but if I do, I'll keep the mafiakills same-world target only, though I'll let redirects/busses alter it (aka you can't target someone across worlds but the kill can be redirected across).  I'll also restore the limit of 'kill or power': it didn't really alter the game here but it can be a mess in other games.

Sidenote 4: Why did Alpha-mafia not kill in N3 (they actively said 'no kill')?  It would've been an instant win since the suicide happened.

Sidenote 5: Inactives/walkaways really..REALLY hurt this one HARD. 


Last note: Dead chat 'died' quickly because no one actually died till near the end.  Everyone kept having one 'self' alive in one or the other place until the suicides occured.

Your power is linked to your Alpha self, Web (the Mafia Cop). As such, your Alpha self must be blocked to stop your Investigation. Blocking Web-beta would be blocking a vanilla townie.

To think of it another way:

At night Alpha-Web physically goes to the other world to do his work. That's how he can inspect across worlds.


Speaking of which, Pandar.. this may get complicated but when it comes to block I'll need to know WHICH power is blocking who. I..e

Pandar-Alpha blocking Litia, Pandar-Beta blocking Dakarian

Easiest way to think of it is that you are controling TWO different people at once, not just one person with lots of power.

It's official... not even hosts are safe from Webadict.

More meaningfully, boy should both towns get screwed if somehow you get mafiosos lining up on both sides of the curtain...

I notice, though, that mafia need to finish axing the town if they "win", as if they throw their vote and kill onto the other world...they no longer are supporting their otherwise inevitable victory.

Double mafia folks would indeed be dangerous.  I'm curious as to what will happen if two people roll up both mafias. 


Well, once the mafia hit their 'win' condition in one world, they don't get a chance to lose it, even if they are killed later.
