The real nail in the coffin was when Eduren kept playing.

I would have kept going too. When I join a game of Mafia, I play to win, and if I can't win I can at least make my opponents lose.

I'll be honest, when I'm scum (or very confident town), if town goes inactive I follow suit a solid 9 times of 10. Why exchange a high probably of victory for more discussion, especially as scum?

Note:

Eduren actually asked me about what happens if he suicided.  I brought this little fact up:

With Eduren, there are 3 townspeople and 2 mafia: Lylo

If Eduren suicided, he would be dead on the spot, leaving 2 townspeople and 2 mafia:  Mafia wins

The effect would be instantaneous. Since he had decided to help the town he decided to keep the town alive by staying alive.


In truth, I thought web's constant attacks and pushes to get Eduren to suicide was a secret way to win the game indirectly.

He decided to help town by making me write a whole page and review this whole game and make the best decision which was Eduren who besides not suiciding was being incredibly scummy and wasn't actually doing anything.

So that we lose anyway??

Because he wanted to. Honestly, I would have preferreed that Eruden sell you guys out to the Mafia. But Eruden decided he wanted to actually play the game correctly. You are a fool, ToonyMan. You didn't deserve to win.

...I'm still confused why Webadict (scum) was against Nuke, considering the "Play to win" ethos that is a part of Mafiascum.

What could I have said? I was trying to be helpful to the town. That's it! Sure, I could have said "I'm not scum, you gotta believe me!" but that wouldn't have done any good.
