For whatever reason, I no longer get immigrants even though I only lost about 10 dwarves over a very long period of time. I have started this in one of the post d builds, I think d14. I have been moving it between d16 and the last d build in order to use some of the utilities. Above nobility not getting promoted and not migrants I also cannot abandon the game in any version because it crashes it. Are you at your population cap? If you are, immigrants won't come.

I'm not an idiot, pop cap is at 200, population is at around 140.

Chill will ya, it's a natural question to ask, and I didn't mean to imply that you were an idiot.

Since you're also having a crashing problem and you moved it from a previous version, it may be that particular save game.

Does making a new worldgen and a new embark work just fine?

I know it will, also, the abandon option in either version crashes the game. I'm just posting the saved game so it can be debugged and possibly a bug gets patched.

Yea, sometimes a savegame can become bugged up and become unplayable for whatever reason and yet the game works fine with a new game.

I've had that problem once. Not the same specific problem as you, just the broken savegame problem.
