Average length of time from becoming adult carp to changing into Yogg-Saron: two weeks.

Is that adamantium I see? Or is it microcline?

It could explain why the link is broken.

If you want animals to be crazy again, just modify the raws. It can all be done. Hell, there's even the Insane Fortress mod (where elves have a bite main attack).

You mean the blue material? That's ice. Yogg-Saron's native habitat is deep below the frozen north in a big-ass chamber that's all frozen solid, except for the water in the middle that is kept liquid through sheer force of will.

Anyone notice the Broken Chain in the very foreground, looks like someone or something broke something they weren't spos to...

On topic: I always hate how Carp CAMP the River's edge closest to your Dwarves and other things. That or that the Carp, 2 Layers down, prevent a damn Mason to finish a bridge and then the walls that stop them from seeing the bloody things. Kinda be funny if you tried to do an underwater fort with Clearglass windows...

Pretty much. Yogg-Saron was chained deep beneath the earth by the Titans because he and the other Old Gods had become symbiotic with the planet; killing them would also kill the planet. As such the Titans (after waging an extensive war and losing substantial forces despite outnumbering the Old Gods several thousand to one) imprisoned the Old Gods inside the planet and hoped really hard that nobody would every be stupid enough to dig down to their prisons and set them free.

Two Old Gods are confirmed to be free, or at least trying to be free, C'thun faked his own death and Yogg-Saron had his mind-controlled minions break his chains (you can see one fo the broken chains in the foreground), another Old God is suspected to be behind some serious fuckery going on in the Emerald Dream, and two more are unaccounted for, but are presumably free, considering how well the Titan's security plans have panned out so far (they havn't.)

Probably Saronite. For all intents and purposes you probably could call it Adamantium, since it's related to THAT guy. Plus being near it (it's a metal) drives you insane. He's also wallowing in a liquid pool of it, from what can be theorized.

So amazingly, it's WORSE than Adamantium.

Saronite is the crystallised blood of an old god. Poke holes in Yogg-Saron, gather up the goo that oozes out, crystallise it and you have Saronite, one of the most powerful metals known to Azeroth.

That's right, in DF terms Yogg-Saron's blood is molten Adamantium.

That would be epic.
And about the carps...
It would be fun to see :

The Carp flaps the Dragon in the head !
It is smashed into the body, an unrecognisable mass !
Lolor McDragon the Mighty Sword of Flame, dragon have been struck down.
The toads have named a resident Carp Urist McCarp the Savage Killer of Dragons.

Wow. I think this thread just turned my carp joke into an idea which would be pretty awesome if implemented. Yogg-Saron HFS pits!  ;D
Effect: any dwarf entering the cavern instantly goes berserk.
