No, he said he doesn't have the dragon magazines because they have a reputation for being bullshit. Balanced or not, he didn't say.

As for the uncanny trickster: if the game is gestalt anyway, I personally would argue for letting the features apply to both parts of a gestalt level. Uncanny Tricksters are basically a small reflex save boost, summoar skill tricks, a +1 to defenses, and you get 2 levels worth of class features in three levels. In a gestalt game, the comparison is three bonus skill tricks plus some contrived +1's to dodge AC plus two levels worth of class features in, say, rogue/warrior... versus three levels in rogue/warrior, which has full BAB, almost same reflex bonuses, bigger hit die, more base fort save, and that extra level worth of class features.

Having one class is simpler than two, Akigagak.  ;D

In the meantime, I have some wacky roleplaying ideas.

Not when it comes to asking for homebrew/dragon mag stuff.

Gestalt is just having two classes features in one package.

Replacing domains with rage seems like an easy substitution. I'll have to ask Nerzu about it.

Sacrificing domains for rage sounds like a silly idea to me, especially at low levels when you're low on spells/day. In fact, getting a domain (such as Charm, Courage, Joy, Passion) that lets you cast heroism is better in every way except maybe casting time, and there's metamagic feats for that. In fact the Passion domain lets you cast Greater Heroism AND lets you rage once per day.

Also remember that you cannot cast spells while raging. Which is a pain once you get quicken spell, or if you should ever consider healing an ally who spilled all their HP...

Editing to use normal clerical abilities.

Also, my stats and such look weird because I have a template. The template is a secret from you.  :-X

This!

The only hints you folks get as to my identity is that my character has a bright disposition.

You aren't one of those lumia things or whatever with the floating heads?

P.S.
I have a draft list of powers. I will probably stick with this, although I am missing some really good stuff. The asterisks separate the powers I have from the powers I want, any thoughts/advice?

1st 5
Vigor  temp HP
Thicken Skin  AC buff stacking
Mind Thrust  single target damage will
Matter Agitation  duration damage torture remote demolition
Inertial Armour  AC buff duration
*
Control light  like darkness, but darkvision works, also useful for lighting up a room.
Detect Psionics  detect magic, don't leave home without it
Grease  usful utility and combat spell, can be invaluable in the right circumstances.
Precognitions  3 Handy combat buffs, personal only, but that might come up...
Expansion  good for reaching the top shelf works well with fusion

2nd 4
Empathic Transfer  healing
Animal Affinity  stat buff
Energy Stun  area damage/disable, crazy high DC
Detect Hostile Intent  Anti-assassin, aiming for burrowing feat. (expect many mind immune assassins...)
*
Biofeedback  DR is my friend, just not quite powerful enough in most instances.
Energy Adaptation, Specified  Protects me from energy attacks. very nice, but don't have enough powers, and there is a high level version that is almost as good
Ego Whip  death by charisma damage, that'll teach 'em to powergame! nonlethal could be good too
Inflict Pain  will half on a decent penalty to rolls.
Swarm of Crystals  unblockable damage, short range, low damage

P.P.S.
I am interested in a headband of intellect and I should probably take a dorje of matter agitation and free up the slot...

P.P.P.S.
My character sheet...

Do we have any money for items beyond the regular startup?

I think thats still being finalized, we need to work out the actual start with Neruz and that'll decide how much money we'll get.

@ RAM's sheet:

-there's special boxes at the bottom for traits and flaws
-when listing your level, I would say "Egoist 4" instead of just "Egoist", to clarify that all 4 of your experience levels were put into Egoist and none are soaked up in racial LA (I know gray elves have LA+0, but others might not) or fancy templates.
-just in case we're doing the "average rounded up" for hp as a running total instead of a per-level basis like CJ was trying to do, I would list your "hp" as 15.5 and your "current hp" as 16, since you're going to be keeping track of damage in GameTable and not so much on your sheet (I would guess)
-you have 2 ranks in Craft() and Craft(trapmaking). What.
-I've already asked about the 9 points in knowledge thing, so I know what's going on there (I personally use the Elf Dilettante feat)...
-Even if your powers aren't finalized, I'd still put them on the sheet and just change whatever you decide you don't want. Leave blank spaces to indicate indecision for some powers, and put an asterisk to indicate new levels of powers (like, put an asterisk on your first 2nd level power, your first 3rd level power, etc)

Also game in 1.24 hours, I am psyched.

HP is always gained per level. Where did you lot get the idea that it wasn't?
