So, what do you guys currently use to play this online? I'm interested in playing at some point and I 'd like to know what I need. Also are you using 3.5e or 4e?

3.5 and Gametable.

I wonder how many Magic Missiles I'll have at level 20...does FMM give me any more when I take more levels in it?

Neruz's special brand of 3.5.

Neruz' brand of 3.5e is fantastic, honestly. Despite my incessant demands for cities, loot, the death of my comrades, and most recently a use for the Leadership feat, I'm enjoying the campaign. Of course, now that I've discovered that the hobgoblins are an empire, I'll have to search every nook and cranny for the rebels.

AND THEN LEAD THEM TO GLORY! FOR THE EMPRAH REBELLION!

Ahem. Sorry, got a little carried away there.

So next game is tomorrow? That is, ~27 hours?

Also, I encountered a strange term: a racial class. I understand it's a way to generate a level 1 character using a race with a Level Adjustment... but it only seems to allow you to get up to class level 17 (I'm using the drow racial class at the back of Drow of the Underdark as an example). What's with that? The way I see it, you make a level 1 character with all of your race's weaknesses but you don't get all of your race's bonuses until level 4, and then you can't hit level 20 ever (unless you do an epic campaign)?

Level Adjustment is horrifically broken; Wizards didn't really want people to play monster races in 3.5, so they deliberately made it pretty much impossible to do so by introducing Level Adjustment and then made it worse by introducing Racial Classes.

If you want to use a race with Level Adjustment, talk to me.

I wonder how many Magic Missiles I'll have at level 20...does FMM give me any more when I take more levels in it?

Yes. It also upgrades them with other effects, like making them self targeting at higher levels.

That'd probably be the Orcs.

If I am back in with a Pally or a good Cleric, what's the average level, and do I get more than 200 gold for starting equipment because everyone has magic weapons already and I'd last, at most, 4 rounds.

As it's obvious you lot are CE.

Level is 7 at the moment iirc.

They're not CE Akig, they're just C.

(CE is Chaotic Evil, the alignment.)

The way some of them are going, they'll hit CE eventually, if you're keeping track of alignment.

And then tantrum spiral.

I'm not really keeping track of alignment; i don't really intend to do anything with it.

If at some point we actually start roleplaying it'll be useful.

Screw it, I'm going to mix some monk in there. Go all Miko on your arses.

EDIT: Are there any Neruz-made feats/abilities I should know about?

Just the fighter 'fix' i posted awhile back.

If you're going Monk though, make this alteration; Monks get full BAB (+1 BAB per level) because having an offensive striker-type melee class without full BAB is fucking retarded.
