Well lets put it this way, ray is suppose to be a straight beam, magic missiles can curve around stuff. If you combined split ray with it youd literally double the number of missiles, maybe it could be availible as a late game spell or something but this early on it seems like a bit much.

And we have, like, everyone here except the DM, too. This is disheartening.

I read WHOLE BOOKS faster than our DM responds on the forum! Argh!

(seriously I've been through a whole book of manga, between 20:00 GMT and now)

Well, then. In the what is now very likely case I am not here for the CLIMAX OF THE LAST FIVE SESSIONS, tell Neruz that I said "I'm not getting gypped out of XP because the DM refused to keep a tight schedule."

Also, as I look at it, was the term gypped derived from gypsies?

It's possible. It would also make sense that the phrase "What a gyp!" would be a racist remark towards gypsies, which makes sense, since back in the day racism wasn't so tightly regulated.

By which I mean racism wasn't regulated.

As my time slowly dwindles, so too does my hope of playing today.

I think the GM's not going to show. He's probably drunk, or lost... or even more likely, both... He'll be picked up by the police... busted out of jail by his cellmates who are drug dealers... he'll go on the run... as soon as he can, he'll break away from the drug-dealer escapees, head to a library, and use the library computer to contact us... but the FBI is monitoring the Bay12 games forum, and as soon as Neruz posts, he'll get picked up again and put in high-security solitary confinement, and we'll never hear from him again.

The moral of the story is DRINKING HABITS ARE BAD HABITS!

I would guess some sort of internet failure or personal emergency, either way all we can do is hope it will be on next week...
