Out of curiosity, was I anywhere near correct in my guess that this Keeper had something to do with the temporal warp? Also, HOORAY! I only need 1000 more xp to level 3.

Session 7 is complete! Mushrooms were fought, vines were chopped and Deadris had to call upon his God to blow everyone to high hell and back to save them! As a result he went temporarily insane and gained a phobia of fungus, but it still wasn't enough! Fortunately; a Deus Ex Machina in the form of a little Faerie came in and saved the party from certain death and mushroom-food!

Now, the party have followed Lilly (the Faerie) back to 'somewhere safe', who knows what awaits them next episode?

Oh, and Word is still refusing to co-operate, so there's not chatlog.

Also, Deadris mutated himself a Carapace, he'd better watch out for that corruption score!

Spoiler: Session 7 (click to show/hide)

BIG NOTE!

Bad news everyone; next week i'm starting a short course on Games Development for the Iphone, the course runs from Monday - Thursday for 3 weeks. Since i am in +11 timezone, the sunday games are actually monday morning for me!

As such, i will be unable to run the sunday game for the next 3 weeks. I'm open to considering temporarily swapping the game to saturday, since i know whoever plays Vomu (my memory is awesome) can't make the friday games.

Alternately, we can do it at an earlier time. I'll get back from the courses at about ~3:00 GMT, and i can probably game till around ~12:00 GMT (midday GMT), but i sincerely doubt that will work for our american friends, so it's probably not an option.

Every DnD campaign needs a Deus Ex Machina every now and then. Although this one was mostly to end the fight quickly rather than to actually save you.

Just be careful i don't introduce a Diabolus Ex Machina XD

Don't use strikeout on the Deus Ex Machina Stefan, it saved your life. Thank you Lilly.

Also, Saturday works.

And... experience! Yay!

Lol. Yeah. I was making a joke. I like deus ex machina's. Death isn't nearly as cool.

I reckon that we could have escaped while it was feasting upon Deadris, and killing it was a distinct possibility...

Yeah, if everyone hadn't been dropping out i would have let you finish, had the shroom release spores as it died and call in the more backup, but i had to railroad a bit because we were down to 2 people.

That's true. I'm just glad I could help--by wiping out all the shrooms except the big one, and even he took a hell of a hit from it.

But in other news, I'm actually surprised a Faerie is here, considering we appear to have entered this world sometime after the apocalypse.
