DiplomatDiplomatic Status: The Diplomat is an official representative of a government or a respected guild. When operating openly, they should be treated with respect by foreign powers and may gain some exemption from local laws (diplomatic immunity).
Diplomatic Knowledge: This works just like Bardic Knowledge (and stacks with it): Diplomats pick up a lot of miscellaneous information from various sources.
Diplomatic Finesse (Ex): Diplomats are skilled in controlling the flow of a conversation, to persuade or to glean knowledge. When engaged in conversation with a subject, Diplomats may add their Diplomat class level to their skill check result when using any Charisma-based social skill (or the Wisdom-based Sense Motive skill).
Spellcasting: Diplomat training includes the use of vaious spells, mostly of an information-gathering or mind-influencing nature. These are arcane spells based on Intelligence. The Diplomat learns and prepares spells just as a Wizard does, maintaining a spellbook. They are subject to the risk of arcane spell failure when casting in armor.
