I suspect you've never tried doing many illegal things yet in your game. The second the CCS knows you're "active", they'll come down on you like the hammer of God.

What's the soul point count?

You weren't there to suck souls.

You VANISHED.

I fell asleep in my chair for a couple of minutes, woke up, forgot what I was doing and went to bed, leaving my computer on for some reason.

If Shoruke doesn't get all of Shoruke's stuff what happens to Shoruke's stuff that isn't Shoruke's? An what happens if Shoruke happens to end up with it anyway...(The scythe seems a little too important to the plot to just vanish, not that the plot has ever stopped us in the past...)

Can I give my rapier the blood iron effect?

Would anyone be horrified if I grabbed an armful of tridents and ground them all down to stubs? What if I did it to the spiked chain?

Well admittedly the spiked chain is really only useful for someone who is specifically speced for it.

A small list of abilities I might be interested, there are, no doubt, others that I would want but am still unaware of or just didn't 'get' at the time...

And the ring is completely worthless to you.

Okay, I'll not take the scroll. I will retain the ring however, as I can always enchant it later. Maybe it will give me the power to make it nighttime or make a huge rock ceiling so that I can use that cloak I spent 40,000 gold for.

ALSO: Next level I'm taking 'warforged juggernaut' to get the 6 inch adamantine spikes added to my armor. This means my grapples do an additional 1d6 damage per round. I will hug people to death!

He said worthless, to you, which probably means one of the living/undead members of our party can use it.

I am guessing that most of the equipment dropped by the character with the 112 damage spells would be useful for people who want 112 damage spells...

To be fair, most of the people in the party could have survived the 84 damage it would have done without the crit due to fire resistance, but still, I am kind of glad that I was only hit with two save or die attacks...(I am kind of guessing that the first was some variation on polymorph, but being a toad is pretty bad as far as prolonged existence is concerned...

I'll take a trident, the Ring of Four Winds, and the Corrosive Chain, if it's not taken.

Also, only 200 xp to level 8.

The chain isn't all that good, it takes a boatload of feats for it to get scary. If you plan on investing in the feats though then go for it.

Maybe it turns people into vampires or gives them regeneration! Well, CJ can have it then. He's also level 7.

Okay, level 8 character, if I don't take Aileryn's stuff, how much spending power do I get? The RoGI is pretty cool, and the scythe seems like a major plot coupon... the rest of my stuff is replacable, I think.

EDIT: just re-read, level EIGHT character, okay. I can work with that...

The Unforgotten Beast, Shoruke, has come! A pale-skinned human. It has heterochromatic eyes and moves in an unpredictable manner. Beware its rapier wit!

The Scythe isn't really that major a plot coupon; it's just a 'set item'. You'll run into more of those in the Heartlands.

You may have 70,000 golds Shoruke. I reccomend you spend them wisely.

I'll take the Ring of Four Winds

I already took it, right after the battle. Sorry.
