We can't do it tonight because WorkerDrone is unavailable.
Everyone is apparently available on the times I specified for Friday, and the same should be applicable for Saturday. If no one objects, we'll start on Friday and go again at the same time on Saturday.
Also, I just had a live fire session, so to speak. Used the example characters in the book instead of NPC marines. Counted ammo. Did it inside the restaurant from last night's game.
Biker, Soldier, Hacker, Video Store Clerk, and Detective.
They moved the tables in front of the doors and windows while the hacker tried in vain to get a booth off the wall to barricade the back door. He finally manages, and they move to the front and start picking off zombies. Pretty soon they start dragging the tables out the broken windows and getting in. Everyone's backing up, and the soldier is racking up a crazy body count. The biker can't hit anything, though.
They're doing well until I forget to move the Detective back. He gets bitten, gives his magnum to the hacker, and pulls out his chainsaw. He fights them for like three rounds before they finally bring him down. A zombie bites the hacker, and his friends shoot him. He gets up the next round and tries to bite the video store clerk. At this point all the zombies in the western window area are dead so they run outside. The clerk isn't as fast as the biker and soldier though, and two zombies who had been beating on the front door the entire game get to him and he gets bitten. Biker/Soldier put him down and run.
Game over, 3 casualties. Always have a way out, preferably one the zombies can't reach. Even if you have to shoot a hole in the ceiling and put a ladder up there, if you let the zombies block all the entrances people are gonna die.
