This character is in the greyscale reminiscent of crime noir settings, the featureless anonymous face is representative of the thrilling mystery surrounding the genre as much as the figure itself. His suit is simple, a three-piece suit with notched lapels and a plain shirt with black and white tie, suggesting that this character is from a lower-middle income background, or is otherwise not too keen on attracting interest/being ostentatious. The poorly folded lapels would suggest an air of carelessness to his conduct. The fedora with its teardrop-shaped crown also gives it connotations of prohibition America, a time of grey morality and black and white films.

A fine avatar, I give it bare ratings.

Pretty cool yet simple (or simplistic) design.

This avatar is a source of intrigue. A slice of bread - yet closer inspection reveals it is anything but. The face of the bread facing the viewer is in fact, what appears to be an actual face! The elevation of one eyebrow, and the odd, cartoonish tilt and translation of its mouth would give the impression of an elated face on this bread. Lines adorn its face like the creases on skin or the hairs of beard, a clear abstract mocking of the old realism and proportions concocted in the renaissance.

Personally I am not a fan of post-modern art antics, but I do quite enjoy this one. Alas, I will have to defer its quality to being of a lesser, albeit good one to SomeStupidGuy's greyscale avatar assortment.
