Then
10^10^10^10/10

or

10^10=x
x^10=y
y^10=z
z/10

Which as far as I can tell are two different things.

---

2^2^2^2 appears to simplify to 2^2^4 and so to 2^16 and then 65536.

2^2=4
4^2=16
16^2=256

So when we use 10s instead of 2s we end up with much bigger numbers, but which is bigger should be the same.

Huh, dosn't work googling it anywhere. Lets just say it's a LARGE number, large as in if you took the number of particles in the universe to the power of itself, then took THAT number to the power of itself, then repeated this proces that number of times, it still wouldnt even get remotely close, in fact that'd be a tiny number by comparision.
How large would it be compared to googleplex? (10^100)^(10^100)

Exept that's not how ^^^works either.
As for compering it to a gogolplex, it makes the gogolplex look as tiny as evryday numbers look compared to the gogolplex.

Also, because I can't find any references to the number I'm  thinking of, I will officially change my rating to Graham's number/10.

Well, yes, but googleplex is defined as google to the google power.

Edit: After looking at the link to Graham's number... *unable to continue, jaw on floor*

dragnar, I agreed that your math-organ was bigger than the previous math-organ.

And the Graham Number appears to be mostly just mathematicians swinging around their math-organs at conferences and in scholarly papers and such.

I'm sure it's nice to be able to teach classes on what amounts to math philosophy, but meh.

Meh I say.

I wasn't arguing with you, I just meant I had written it in the format the number is defined as, while you wrote a simpler equivalent. Same thing, just harder to explain where it comes from.
