We lose water and power randomly when they dig the road up outside our house.  Seriously, I have no idea why they need to dig up the fucking road so often.  I mean, maybe they should do all the things they need to do when it's dug up the first time, rather than digging it up 3 times in one year...

We have horrifically destructive tornadoes all the time around here. A blackout every month or so during the spring-summer is nothing surprising. The Huntsville utilities are fast.

Last time a tornado came through, it was heading directly for us, but jumped my house and plowed through our back yard. It ripped our sycamore in half, and knocked our old oak tree through the back fence. My dogs escaped unscathed.

Driving when half asleep for any reason is stupid.  He could also have just been out drinking all night.  He's an SUV owner, as everyone knows, SUV owners are evil. ;D
