Trophies and (semi)megabeasts
« on: October 08, 2009, 06:28:06 am »

Hello,
What's a trophy ? How can I make them ? I have a goblin civ leader corpse anda (rotten) dragon corpse in my backpack.
I also had a mayor who asked me to kill a semimegabeast. I looked in the whole cave, in and out, and found nothing.

Trophies only exist in Fortress mode, and they exist as skull totems (which don't actually retain the name of the creature from which they were created).

In Adventure mode, all you need to do is kill the creature and the guy who gave you the quest will instantly know that you were successful.

P.S. If you don't get this note, let me know and I'll write you another.
It's amazing how dwarves can make a stack of bones completely waterproof and magmaproof.
It's amazing how they can make an entire floodgate out of the bones of 2 cats.

a) This thread would better belong in the Adventurer Mode forum

b) Please don't bump threads. We have a better class of forum here than that.

I looked in the whole cave for the monster, at least three times, and found nothing. I looked in the nearby, and didn't find anything neither.
For the corpses, I'll leave the goblin corpse to rot and keep the dragon's skull. As a souvenir, even though I have the kills screen.

Build up your throwing skill and then put that dragon skull to good use.

I believe there was something of trophies being made for your adventurer after he/she retires, so I think that should you retire, you may return to that adventurer to find a dragon leather trinket, and a goblin bone ring or something, I'm not entirely sure on it.

What kind of statues are your masons making, that you think they have "maximum exposure"?
