What do you do with it?
What addons/plugins have you used in wich?
What shortcuts do you use more often?

i prefer IE, mainly general position of things. I don't really care about speed, since my lag is for internet connection,surely not browser.
unluckily, IE developed a couple of bugs that made it impossible to use for my RTD, so i switched to firefox, which i can see being better, mainly for all the things you can add ( i have a spell checker for example). But i still irrationally prefer IE.

As to the IE vs firefox thing awhile ago (not sure what version of IE at the time) I got a bugged version or something that takes a fuck long time to bring up a window, browsing is okay but opening a new tab/window fucks up. Come to think of it it was the version that they introduced tabs I think. At any rate I prefer firefox, haven't tried chrome but if I get on a computer that has it or when I get a new computer I'll give it a try.

Chrome is pretty bad. If I really wanted something less bloated, I'd go for Opera, because at least that doesn't run multiple instances of itself, takes up less memory overall and the developers didn't decide I don't need a fucking bookmarks sidebar and that everything I need can fit in a crappy little toolbar.

As for IE, I don't hold any gripes with it, except that it's difficult to repair once it's damaged by something like malware since you can't really reinstall it. So I prefer to use Firefox, because it's more secure and if anything fails, I can always simply reinstall.

Chrome has only a bookmark toolbar??  mmm... that's a pitty... I use bookmarks a lot.  Readitlater addon FTW! (works for many browsers)

Microsoft isn't a company with arrogant smug bastards in the advertising department, which is nice. I hated the Apple adverts. As far as I'm concerned, the only reason they did that is because they're a small group of elitists, and to be honest, at the end of the advert I still wanted the boring, functional PC over the expensive, fancy mac.

Uh huh. Because little 5 year old girls constantly have opinions enough on computers to associate windows 7 as "Happy Words" without coaching. In fact, I was sitting on the bus next to a little 5 year old girl just the other day and she was harping about how great Windows 7 was...

9 year old boys don't seem to know or care, according to my nephew. Looks like we are in for a world of trouble, with such a disconnect between boys and girls half their age.

My biggest problem with microsoft is, and always will be, their drive for total integration.

If your leg becomes horribly infected that it has to be removed, it should be removable. You shouldn't have to keep it because you'll lose half your heart and a kidney as well if you don't!

IE is targeted because it allows access of magic bullets, due to Microsoft wanting more user friendliness, not because it is the most used. It is the most used because it comes on every single computer and cannot be removed without problems.

I stick with my opinion that IE 6 and firefox as a *backup* is good enough for me.

Funny fact: IE6 manages to start up about as fast as firefox with almost no add-ons.

Isn't that what capitalism is all about?  You must be angry at all corporations then... Besides, the ones who should regulate that are in the goverment.  You can't blame the corporation.

@Kogan Loloklam: lol... I somewhat agree with you.  IE can not be uninstalled... All their stuff seem to be now Updates with rollbacks to the beginnings of time and you JUST... CANT... REMOVE... THEM!!!

I dunno how people can claim that Microsoft are evil while Apple are virtuous.  Surely they both have the same degree of evilness (roughly), while Microsoft just happens to have a bigger market share?

My last experience with apple was with Apple 3.0 or something. I was probably 5. I feel that apple is an excellent company that serves its niche.

Ironically I still prefer PC's.

I also like the more recent makes of IE. Much more useful than it was previously, though admittedly, Firefox still wins out.

I think Microsoft is just getting better at realizing that customers are ignorant.  They have gotten good at pulling the wool over your eyes....like our government and this health care/economy ordeal.  They want to tax the companies who will pass the buck to the consumer.  This makes the consumer hate companies more when it's the government's fault.  Microsoft still dodges taxes by selling software out of state and they manipulate the users into upgrading when they really don't need it.  They create and sponsor Microsoft specific training at colleges, supporting fly by wire computer training companies that only teach Microsoft software (not actual computer training) and get the consumer that spent money on learning Windows only to sell Windows so they didn't waste money on a worthless education.  "Software Evangelists" and all that... Tricky underhanded business is still their modus operandi.
