Maybe it's got to be done by a muslim to qualify?

There have been far right attacks in parts of Europe, most of them against gypsies and travellers.  And homosexuals, I suppose, although this is starting to push the definition of "terrorism" as opposed to "hate crime" rather a lot.

As you can see in the table, 1 out of the 498 attacks was islamist, the other 497 were seperationist, left-wing and right-wing.

They're probably grouping the muslim attacks as separatist, left- or right-wing.
(Like they would in Acheh, south Thailand, and southern Phillipines)

I'm a bit surprised there's no islamist attacks in France.

No. The muslims are just really quiet, but when they act, it's a bigger one and usually more aimed at hurting/killing civilians, that's why they get more media-coverage. And there aren't groups big enough to be "separatist". The closest thing in the EU to a separatist muslim group would be the Kurds (PKK), and they operate usually in (for now) non-EU member Turkey.

Meh.
I'm supporting the Acheh's right to make their own law.
Bullshit-spitting feminazis always ruin the party.

Edit: I was talking about the criticisms on Acheh's new, syariah law.

That's debatable and for the love of the gods, please do not debate that.

They're actually being quiet here right now, probably due to the increased US presence and their own lack of support.

To go a bit more on-topic: The point was that it's usually not the Muslims that are terrorists, it's the people from the EU themselves, adding another obstacle in the way of the superstate.
Immigration is a non-problem that's been blown out of proportion.

If some crackhead does some terroristic attack because he wants his own micro-nation, I'd say 'Screw Him' and throw him into the prison. But yes, like the basques, who are about 3'000'000 people, why the hell can't they just get their own county, in Spain anyway. It would stop said crackheads killing people or doing other bad things. It's another question if they 'deserved' their own nation or not, but killing is bad, and it would solve many problems. But most countries are pretty imperialistic concerning keeping or expanding their territories.

there is no official definition of terrorism. So any stats on terrorism assume a definition that suits who ever is putting together the stats. This lack of a definition allow goverments to declare war on terrorism and attack who ever they like (in theory) for example the russians renamed their war in chechnya a war on terrorism. Whether the chechnians are terrorists isnt the debate im trying to start. The point im trying to make is that the media or governments could mean anything by terrorism

Nationalsim has probably killed more people in the history of man kind than any other ideology WW1/WW2.

So im anti nationalism. I tend to view my self as european rather than english or british.

england and the uk as a whole is quite nationalist. most ppl in the uk dislike the french (no real contempory reason). Theres also quite abit of english vs scottish vs welsh (vs cornish) nationalism.

If we were given a referendum the uk would vote against the lisbon treaty. IMO it would be primarily for nationalist reasons, tho lots of people would make economic excuses.

Give it another decade or two and there'll be noone left from that nasty period in the 40's. Give it a generation or two of the EU existing and people will become more inclined to it.

I would be more worried. History doesn't repeat itself, but it does rhyme.
