Many, many possibilites. Their adding colony management and buildings, freeform sandbox game. Man, it would take me a LONG time to explain it all. You should read the wiki, game manual, and browse the forums. Remember, if you want to be a fleetie(Government ship people) then post who you are, your profession, etc. in Crew Schedules
If you want to be a civvie, post in Civilian Crew Schedules, im currently in the ICS, a new faction uprising. Anyway, see ya in the game! They can probably explain everything to you, one day you may make a solo civilian! It's a awesome game. A bit buggy, but WAY better then way back when it bugged every 5 minutes.

EDIT:9.99 USD for 1 month of subscription time.

Looks cool, I really like the sound of "Serve on military starships in a number of crew positions" feature.

Now if their site would just let me download it a little faster then 96Kb/s!

yea, its all 1st person, no being a omni-present starship like in eve, gotta have crew! usually you can  solo though if you manage to not get into combat much.

Game comes up pretty much everytime I have an urge to get into an MMO, but I've yet to try it.
Perhaps now's as good a time as any.

How much is it after the 30 day trial?

I'm looking forward to LOVE already, but I liked this game concept.

I love space-based games, I love to build, I like to be merchant/military, I love to build, I like colony management because I love to build stuff.

Anyway..

Heh, maybe we could get a ship completely staffed by Bay12 players.

Hmm alright. If it's really worth it, maybe it will be the first game I'll Pay2Play :]

Problem is I'm looking forward to Love and Dawn World, but I'll test it.
Already registered, downloading client.

I think my character will be named Gabeux.

Yea, its only a wee bit grindy. The only REAL skills you need to pump up is markmanship, astrogation, reverse engineering, and fabrication.

The client.exe has been automatically deleted by NOD32 ._.
"probably unknown NewHeur_PE virus"

Will have to take it out from quarantine.

Meh. This game is bad.

The lag is pretty terrible and it appearently requires you to "equip" money to buy things.

There is zero direction in the game.

How do you open your backpack anyway?
I press F2 and it just makes that weird noise and doesn't open any inventory windows.
Does that mean that the backpack is empty?

EDIT: Oh I've found it, my taskbar was over it, lol.

Btw, is there enough people playing to make a Bay12 'something' ?

Creative dwarves as we are, would make a nice Faction..
