« on: October 02, 2009, 04:18:52 am »

I could have sworn there was complete combat dialog in Fort mode, is there some setting to switch this on or off? Or just it not exist?

You can use Dwarf Companion to temporarily turn it on, but it only works in plain 40d (i.e. no 40d16) and it doesn't display names properly (i.e. " hacks at  in the head with his Bronze short sword" instead of "Urist McSwordsman hacks at the Horse in the head with his Bronze short sword").

P.S. If you don't get this note, let me know and I'll write you another.
It's amazing how dwarves can make a stack of bones completely waterproof and magmaproof.
It's amazing how they can make an entire floodgate out of the bones of 2 cats.
