Then it seems my Chaotic Evil Half-Elven Wizard will be somewhat at odds with the party. And until further notice, that one guy that suggested he could is our most likely DM, unless Rooster steps up and the other guy wants to step down.
Whoever the DM is, I'd suggest you get to work on a campaign. Everyone else, I'd suggest getting to work on characters.
That one guy? Is that me? I'm starting to get excited about the prospect so I think I'll just go ahead and actually commit to DMing a campaign. Rooster didn't sound like he really wanted to, and if he does there's more than enough players to go around. It's been 5 years since I've even played though, so no quality assurance on this campaign. Let's just see what happens.
But before you guys can start genning characters I have to figure out who's playing, what character creation rules we'll be using and what will be allowed in the "Dwarf Fortress" setting. Which might take me a little while. And
then I'd have to figure out what programs we're using, when we can play, start designing the campaign...so you guys should cool your jets a bit
Should we have non-DF races? Halflings and Half-Orcs, I mean. Or should Goblins and Kobolds be playable for full dwarfiness? Other than that I'd stick to the core 3.5 stuff. Maybe even disallow some prestige classes, since they're so goddamn unbalanced most of the time.
