Ah Australia. Such a great country. Majestic Natural Beauty is kinda marred by the danger of the native animals. Or does that add to the beauty? You have reefs filled with fish off the coast of a major steel works, surrounded by built up areas of suburbs. Australia has a twisted beauty in that Industry, People and Nature live alongside each other. Not always successfully though.
Australia has quite amazing geography, went hiking for 4 days the other week - climbed 3 15ft tall rock faces. Caught food and camped overnight. We finally made it to a remote, sandy creekbed winding through the mountains. We found $150-$200 worth of gold there, with just a metal detector. Pretty lucky. Hiked back home - a nice day out.
Schooling systems also really good, though I go to a private one, so perhaps that's just me.
Bearing in mind that I've never experienced another schooling system, it certainly is great in my view. Public school here, just paid off a trip to Tasmania with our school today. I also just finished 3 hours of practical first aid training with my school. I don't know if it's with other schools, but my school is great in regards to activities, and courses and stuff. Most of the teachers are great. Some not.
Summer.
Love summer. I surf, dive and swim, so I love summer, love the water. Love looking for lobster and, albeit illegal, abaloni.
Invading Oz
OH GOD HAHAHAHAHAHA
What mountains? We have mountains now?
That's what I thought :-S. Hills at best.
EDIT: BY Mountain I mean the ranges across Australia.
So, fellow Australians, where all you guys live?
