To be honest, I never liked the southern states. They're what other countries think about when they hear "USA".

I always thought when people thought of the US they thought of New York, California, and Florida, since thats where almost all TV is filmed.

Then they remember the kickass places in the USA from those rare shows like "Walker, Texas Ranger"...........................................*tries to get away with this with a straight face

I am a Texan and I love/hate errrrrrrr hate/love, no wait, i mean hate/hate nonono thats not it, sigh oh well, Chuck rulz.  He filmed part of the movie finale in my sisters house.

Also, DC just got voting rights in the House I believe, so it should be listed.

I dunno, can't say I like Texa's policies, but I'm not sure if that's justification for hating the entire state.

I live in Texas. I hate Texas.

Reason one: Rick Perry, George W. Bush's Lieutenant Governor, has been governor for going on Ten years, making him the longest serving governor in Texas history, and he wants to run again in the coming election.

Reason two: Rick Perry decided building a massive system of Toll Roads in and around the Austin area would just be a dandy idea. The problem with this: The municipal roads throughout the city are total crap and need to be completely redone. I get seasick, SEASICK driving on these poorly maintained streets and roads. Upon that, they Toll Roads are deceptively labeled. On the ordinary highway there is an "exit" sign that leads you onto a toll road, with an exit not 100 yards further down leading to the access road.

To compound that, they've laid the toll roads out in a horrible twisty turny way that has already caused a lot of accidents.

Reason 3: There are creationists and Intelligent Design people trying to get such things in the Texas School books. This is made worse because many other states just use whatever curriculum and textbooks Texas uses.
