I remember my first Adamantine vein. I made warhammers for my soldiers out of it and thought "this is gonna be sweet - nothing will be able to survive my hammerdwarves now!"

Within the season, the barracks had been painted red with dwarf blood, and more than half of my military was either dead, severely mangled, or suffering horrific nervous system damage, since I'd forgotten that they'd be sparring while only wearing steel and iron armor :(

Keep in mind that the dwarves are essentially alcoholic toddlers, and act accordingly.

The silly clowns are quite easy to deal with if you know how.

Their funhouse is highly susceptible to falling rock!  Just be a bit careful, since the leader clown and the !!clowns!! can fly.

I've found that champion marksdwarves are highly efficient at dispatching ‼clown‼s (provided you can actually see them - guard dogs work wonders), and that the ‼clown‼s themselves are highly efficient at burning the leader clown to a crisp.

P.S. If you don't get this note, let me know and I'll write you another.
It's amazing how dwarves can make a stack of bones completely waterproof and magmaproof.
It's amazing how they can make an entire floodgate out of the bones of 2 cats.

I smash it with soap drawbridges to show the world soap really is harder than adamantite.

Actually ya, I make it into armor like everyone else.  :P

By the way, what's Adamnmite?  Sounds like an explosive :P

...made specifically for Mythbuster use?
It's a mythical material said to be the hardest metal possible even though it's as light as plastic

They know that. They were just joking about the mispelling.

It's truly amazing what you don't read if you don't read closely :D

I tend to leave it lying around. It's a bad habit.
