Community is basically just a story about your fortress. People are allowed to ask to claim a dwarf, though.

From what I understand, Succession doesn't necessarily mean community (where they name dwarves after people who aren't playing).  However, I don't think it hurts to include the readers and rename the dwarves  ;D ;D

Created 226907* of wealth

sorry for the typos.

From the diary of the "Bloody" Shintaro, the famous whale slayer.

5th Granite - I have heard about this sea monster 3 years ago, when I was just a sailor. They say this huge monster is capable of swallowing the whole fisher villages. My old friend asked me to help them with the newfound fisher station. This place looked nothing like a village. There was one shack with two tables by the water. If we are about to fight with the sea monster, I must help them organize the things!

7th Granite - The elven traders were scared by the smell coming from the shack. Oh, sorry, not the shack, the tavern. "Dirty Beard" tavern. I hope the smell won't scare off my huge swimming trophy.

17th Granite - During those 10 days we built the pier for our fisherdwarves to use. The mayor, thanks to me, ordered to craft few crossbows.

28th Granite - A minor victory. We got rid of the carps living in near the tavern. We avenged the kille dwarves. I told the mayor we need the crypts for them so they can rest in peace. Everyone agreed.

5th Slate - Great news! Today came migrants from the village in the north. It was destroyed by some huge monster. My whale! Only 15 dwarves survived the attack. We must be prepared! 6 of them became recruits.

9th Slate - We have struck carnelian! Yet, we still have to use the rest of the hematite.

5th Felsite - The water turned red from the blood of the smaller things in the sea. My whale is near...

8th Felsite - Our recruit has fey mood. I just hope he won't go berserk.

15th Felsite - He did not and created a jet idol. Our first work of real art.

1st Hematite - Summer. Nothing new in the village.

9th Hematite - There is nothing to catch in the river. The fish are scared. I'm ready to deliver the killing hit to our whale.

11st Hematite - Human caravan came yesterday. We got steel bars, shields and drinks.

18th Hematite - A kobold thief was killed behind the tavern.

20th Hematite - Another thief.

12nd Malachite - Goblin thief killed. Bored hunter became a wrestler.

24th Malachite - We have struck tiger iron! Migrants are building a chapel for those who died defending the village. We need any morale boost we can get.

9th Galena - Eral, one of the migrants, gave a birth to a healthy boy. It's a miracle and a sign from gods.

13rd Galena - We completed the bridge to the another part of the land only to be attacked by more than 15 monkeys. We need traps and walls.

13rd Limestone - A dwarven caravan! The chapel is finished and we all spend the night in there talking about the life and the future.

14th Limestone - A child claimed the workshop. I don't like where it's going...

16th Limestone - The same moment the creator of the previous artifact died, a hematite scepter was born. I've always known that kid is strange...

17th Moonstone - Yet another dwarf has a fey mood.

21st Moonstone - Yet another artifact. A high steel boot used two steel bars.

15th Opal - The lighthouse is completed , our soldier gave a birth to a girl and we started reclaiming the small island.

13rd Obsidian - The carps attacked the workers and killed the carpenter and tanner. It's my fault. While I was looking for the whale, the fish took two of us.

22nd Obsidian - The last fish is dead. I'm ready to fight with you now, whale! Come and get us!

While playing, press ESC then select Export Local Image. Upload the map on DFMA.
