um, could I get the .zip version of this.  On Vista, apparently 7z is not a valid file type for my current unzipper, but trying to get one to work.

Joy did decend, this faithful day, first of granite, in the nine and tenth year of the Whips of Joy.  A daughter born by Iden Nationpaddled, the daub of wails. Zefonvukrig, Fountainrifts, known as Time Kitten from now to then, claimed by spirits sent from Kosh, the God-Forsaken Spike, mistress of the dreamlands.

10th of granit.  A farming lass has been pulled into the water while gathering plants, but as if possessed she strangles the beast of a gar, and climbs blood dripping from the water... nothing that shouldn't heal.

Stone! Why are they throwing out the stone!? We must save stone for the children.  We much keep the stone, as a reminder!  Not to mention furniture!

Not enough places for bad people, not nearly, our nightmares are filled... a new place must be built!

Ahh, migrants, and just in time, the new resteraunt is ready to open.

What, think I'm gonna let this place get away without something to do with all the fish, am I?

And it's really just a small thing.  With a second story appartmant, and a larder basement.  Three to four dining seats and a kitchen.  Might have a red roof, depending.

This place is gonna look something like a town when I'm done.

Summer progresses nicely, much building is done.  The brainwasher portion of the new jail is compleate, along with complementery tomb garden underneth.  A pair of townhouses has arrisn.

The major problem with the swimming area is that... people can escape on their own.  This has been fixxed.

Now, the next order of business is a fishing trawl... OMG!  Vile force of DARKNESS!  And now into fall.

Naw, got a few legendary speardwarves, who recently got a few kobolds, and have had no sparing injuries.  Not to mention the traps.  one layer of cages, and two layers of stonefall... yeah, haven't gotten around to renovating that area yet.

Getting some points of interest up there.

Vile force of darkness?

Yeah right, the only marksdwarf who bothered to show up wipped out half the force, then clubbed a third of what was running.  Workers were remarkably prompt in cleaning up the field.

The trawler construction continued, and a new house was constructed to compliment Bloody's new asylum, complete with dungeon so he can take his work home if the office is too busy.  Though the drawbridge on the asylim was never hooked up to a lever, the house does not have that fault, and is mildly impenetrable with a push of a button.

A metalsmith starved to death somewhere. Don't know where, don't know why.

Standing orders to cook booze led to a shortage, and we were quite thirsty there for a moment before we cleared it up... the barrel reserves were WAY too low for emergency boozing.
