My Sister got an ugly cat

Except for some FREEKISH reason she looks rather normal if not actually adorable.

I'll never understand why people name cats. It's not like they care what you call them. If they feel like coming they will, and if they don't they won't, no matter what you call them. I had half a dozen cats in the past 10-15 years, and they were all called "Here kitty, kitty".

What the jello are you talking about. My cat knows her name and comes if I call her, even from across the house.

But of course, my cat loves me and always wants belly rubs.

My cat hates me because he keeps getting his hair knotted up so I have to take this comb thing and get them out which pisses him off.

Pretty sure.

It all just depends on the personality of the cat and how you raise it.
I've met a surprising amount of people with similar cats/more affectionate(trained?) cats.

I miss Kitty. He was my only friend for a long time. Got 'im before I was even born, stuck around for twenty years.

Also, Persians always annoyed me. Perhaps it's their snobbish looks and the annoying amount of care that has to be taken of their coats.

They stay friendly forever, as long as you frequently make time with them.

But if you ignore them for a week when it's convenient they remember forever.

Right now I have two domestic shorthairs.
One is mine. She's thin, cuteadorable, friendly and loud.
My sister's is fat, lazy, eats about six times a day, steals my bed, and is friendly but with a short temper.

I swear I should have never let her name them. Who the jello has cats named Sugar and Spice?

For one I do like maine coons, we had a part maine coon and he was suchs a damn lap cat (rather fat cat to) and yet to adorable. And on names don't worry, we had guine pigs named frick and frack, and parakeets named itsy and bitsy.

Several of my cats come when I call them. The trick is to say their name while petting them, then saying their name from farther away and petting them when they come near.

Uhm yeah, I do that, but they still respond to any word said in a calling tone. That, and I find it impossible to call one cat without calling the other.
