Science!
« on: September 26, 2009, 08:57:36 am »

Okay, another light hearted topic. The purpose here is to discuss the amusment value that science provides, and to link videos, images, articles etc. that contain Science!

Starting off with non-Newtonian liquids.

It doesn't matter whether or not it can be done at home, it just has to be Science.

Ferrofluids are awesome. Also: They aren't controlled by sound, as the description says.

Quantum theory in its whole is amazing, especially when you read all those zany sub-theories. It's also amazingly deep.

Nuclear science. The ways it has changed the world that we live in are uncountable.

Once tried to conquer Earth, and succeeded! Too bad it got really, really boring, really, really fast.

One day, we shall all look back on this, and laugh. Sorry about the face, by the way, and the legs, and the eyes, and the arms. In fact, sorry 'bout the whole body.

Metamaterial cloaking!

Still needs to be scaled up and done in 3 dimensions, but will probably happen within a year.

You know, I created a theory almost exactly the same as Quantum theory before discovering it on wikipedia.
