Use my powers to increase the strength and size of my elemental.
[4] Attempting to increase your control over the artifact's powers, you concentrate on making your elemental more tangible. The elemental slowly begins to grow, while still almost invisible, and not very strong, it can fight effectively by focusing gale-force winds on anything touching it.
(physical action penalty reduced to -1, eliminated for combat)
(2/4 toward no adjective air mage)
novice summoner gained!
Attempt to swim to the village/boats.
[3] You attempt to swim to the village, but get exhausted before you get there. Luckily, your medallion created a large cloud of steam when submerged, and one of the boats is heading in your direction. You will be picked up next turn.
Keep building my precious.
[5] Well, your run of bad luck seems to be over
Leech emerges from his workshop (where on earth did that thing come from?) carrying a glowing flail of truly masterful design. The handle is composed of wood salvaged from a small shipwreck and is covered in runes that even Leech doesn't seem to understand. The chain is made of obsidian (must be a volcanic island), and the spiked ball on the end is made from the earth artifact, Leech still isn't sure what kind of metal it is, but estimates it to be 5 times stronger than iron...
(artifact flail gained, you can name it whatever you want. It has +1 to attack, +1 to hit, and +1 to all earth magic, further magical powers must be discovered)
legendary blacksmith gained! (will auto-succeed at blacksmithing, rolls for quality)
runesmith gained!
... that went well ...
train black magic
do i need to breath?
[6] You attempt to harness the powers of your ring, sensing something responding to it's power you increase the flow of energy. The waters near the island begin to look decidedly more menacing...
novice dark mage gained!
stop the water from rising
[5] Panicking, you manage to shut of the energy flowing from the ring, the water stops rising and you even think you could control it now!
water mage gained! (+1 to rolls of 1 and 2)
tidal manipulation gained! (basically, you can act like Moses and slowly move water however you like in non-combat situations)
Zombie carp! 3 undead fish crawl out of the water, heading straight for daemon!
How does everyone think I'm doing so far? Not sure how well balanced you all are, but that's inevitable in a game as random as this.
