It's your animus/anima trying to get with you.  Kill it.

Whats an anima/animus? And I don't love myself. I dont really like me. Other people are all way awesomer, as long as they're good people.

I've had a couple things like that before.  Except, ah...   We kinda skipped the dating stage...

Moving on.

Is sex with your clone incest or masturbation?

I vote for incest. It would make sense. Maybe like... Selfcest?

A great fissure extending into the bowels of the earth. While I do not feel things in my dreams, I get the sense that there is a great breeze flowing down into the hole like God unplugged the bottom of the world and all the air is flowing down the drain. I grab the rope I extended over the edge and rappel down the side, urine-colored obsidian making my decent treacherous. Soon I go under the shadow of the setting sun and the heat of the world seems to leave me.
It iakes no time for a shiver to creep up my spine. I swivel around as the shadow of the flying beast goes over me. The sky is too bright to make out where the creature is. I grab at my coat and pull out a (Gun? Knife? Frozen tongue of fire?) radio. With one arm on a deathgrip with the rope my other fiddles with the knobs of the radio. I can only do this with my thumb. The shadow goes over me again. Satisfied with the settings of the radio, I press the speak button. The world goes into static.
My sight returns, and the hobo in the suit is withering on the floor clutching the gun wound in his leg. The tiles around us were decayed and cracked. I put away my now ancient-looking gun and walk down the hall the hobo was blocking. I feel the object is close.
Twin doors. I do not recognize the material. I reach for the doors.

And this is where I awaken.

I would bet money Andrew has edited things retroactively, except I can't prove anything because it was edited retroactively.

Wow.  I'm now totally trying to avoid imagining a genderbent version of myself.  Argh, she's already in my mind, damn.

An opposite gender version of me would have to be way better looking than me. I'm told that I am attractive, but I don't believe it. The alternate me looked pretty good in my dream though. o.o

I'm pretty sure I'd get on great with a clone of myself - just a quirk of my personality I suppose. Think of all the things you could accomplish with twice as much you!  ;D

I'm rather surprised I haven't had an opposite-gender me show up in a dream, actually; though since I can't think of examples of a same-gender me doing so either, at least not visually, that might just be a quirk of my subconscious.

Interestingly enough, and a propos to the thread title, one dream from years back that I can still remember did in fact involve a war.  World War II, specifically; it seems to have been the Battle of the Bulge, seeing as it was winter and in the middle of a forest.  There was a tank coming down a road, and I ran up and threw a grenade in.  The dream then went on to something completely and utterly different, as dreams are wont to do.  I did have one more recent dream that took place in a war zone (Afghanistan, specifically), but no fighting was involved, at least physical fighting.

I'm talking about the bronze colossus. It's supposed to be made entirely of bronze.
But really he's just a softie inside. They all are really. When megabeasts come to your fort you never welcome them inside and give them a hug, do you. You heartless bastards...
