I think I got sleep paralysis once. I woke up once and stood up quickly, but just fell over and my body was all like, non feeling.

The other night I had the "Old Hag" effect. Anyone else experienced that?

And another thing, has anyone else had multiple, unrelated dreams in the same location? Discuss.

yes, often i reuse locations. But in the dream, i "remember" the other dream, and know where it is and what it is. sometime, i remember the first dream just because i dreamed the same place another time.

I had multiple unrelated dreams in the same place.  I had three different dreams in a place vaguely reminiscent of the final battle with the striders in Half Life 2 Episode 2.  The first one I was with the people from King of the Hill for some reason, the second I was a disembodied observer watching the Rugrats for some reason, and the third I was in a barn near the edge of the area holding an assault rifle for some reason.

Also, sleep paralysis is cool.

See guns never work in my dreams and they are really really really tiny like micro, and swords are tiny and flimsy, and when I try to punch people im like swimming in glue. But anyway I just ended up having some random dream I can't remember much of.  :D

An Everest-sized ruin, tomb for civilizations of old. I stand before the entrance, a great fissure in the architecture. Plants and jungle have grown everywhere, and everything is decaying. I'm not just looking for something here. No, there is more. There are people in these old halls of death. I need them. I know there are old evils behind every corner, and the halls extend like a labyrinth. Did I just enter the ruins? Am I still at the entrance? All I have is these solid metal gauntlets... and boots, and solid metal clothes. A helmet that obscures my vision.

Last night I dreamed that I was on a quest with my puppy. We sailed in a wooden boat across a lake and there was a kraken and then the lake froze and we were attacked by a T rex thing.

I dreamed that all my friends and I were wizards and knights, and we were going around to medeival classes at our high school when pirates started attacking. My school is built a bit like a castle manor, and I'd always thought how cool something like this would be. We started being overrun, and me and a couple of friends were dueling pirates and being pushed backwards up the stairs. Thinking fast, I rushed to where my lab is for chemistry class to find it unchanged. I turned on all the methane jets and then lit a match and blew up the school. Then I woke up.

Jesus, someone could harvest all your dream ideas and sell them off as stories.

A great tower, scraping the skin off of the skies. The concrete pillars appear more stable than the very earth beneath me. I enter the lobby, the floor made of reflective tiles deeper than the world I am in. Elevators are scattered about the lobby. They all appear to be disconnected from any system of elevating. Despite this they function normally and I am shuttled through the great tower. After ages of seeking the object within this great office building I see movement on the floor below me. I raise my Gun

Knife
At me, expecting to kill me. The intruder. I stumble out of the way and watch the bemused bum slide across the floor. He adjusts his suit while staring me down with enraged eyes. His yellow grin greets some excitement in this (Tower? Ruin? Sky?). The knife was already poised to take me out when I remember I have a gun. He tries to grapple me, but my gun is already aimed. The shot rings into the air and the bum flies backwards, right into a large glass window. The entire buildings seems to shudder at my aggression and I feel the ground tilt towards the gaping hole in the now-massive window.
I somehow jump into a nearby closet, and I escape the fate of plummeting to my doom. My gun is now yellowed and dirty-looking. My use of it in this place has damaged it. And damaged the tower. I breathe out and adjust my (Fedora? Western hat? Animalskin Hood?).

Funny that people would mention turning dread ideas into stories.  Me and some friends actually made a (crappy) RPG setting out of some dreams we had (the one I described included), though it never got very far.

Any takers for making such an abomination out of the attendant awesome?

I've been up for 24 hours! In another 8 or so, I'll be able to sleep on a bus. I'll report with the results!
