Electromagnetic Wave Engineering. Well, it says Telecommunications on paper, but it's really a specialized branch of Electrical Engineering. It's mostly about information transfer using EM waves and networking. But I'm specializing in digital signal processing, with image processing, speech processing, signal morphing. I have a Major in procrastination and a minor in cheap jokes.

I actually studied hard and have a major with honors in procrastination. As evidenced by the fact that I have a half-written description of a really awesome dream up in another tab for the dream wars thread.


I've been filling in lots of fancy sounding majors whenever someone asks. Usually, it's Nuclear Engineering, Mechanical engineering, Aerospace, Military History, and Mathematics.

I intend never to leave the Army, mind you, but I'll have something cool to show for college (other than a butter-bar). I might also minor in Russian.

Edit: Mind you, I still think nukes are the future, and would be happy to have a job with reactors or strategic weaponry.

I'm currently 3 months away from completing my honours for Nanotechnology, which is basically a chemistry physics double degree with an emphasis on materials with unusual properties due to having at least 1 dimension on quantum scales.
