I'm going to try to get into a Computer science major, just as soon as my application for the winter semestar is done.

Another future engineer here. Heading off to Auckland university next March to take enter the course for a Bachelor of Engineering with honors. Probably specialize in chemical and materials engineering, though the first year is basically a bit of everything across the engineering field so if I find something I enjoy, I can pick that up instead.

Oh, materials engineering... *twitch*
Ok, so its not that bad, just really not my kind of thing. It is pretty amazing what you can discover about a material just by looking at its microstructure though. And people are doing some crazy stuff with polymers and composites right now (eg, you can get carbon fibre everything nowdays), so i'm pretty sure that there's plenty of jobs for it around the place.

Oh Armok the LEAD AHHHHH.

Games Graphics Design

I'm planning on doing crazy things with animation!

At the moment, I'm only a sophomore in High School, but I think I'll be able to get at least half the math required for that major done before I graduate. (How far does math go? Past Calculus 2?)

How far do you want it to go?
Yeah, your not in any danger of running out of math classes. I'm a freshman and I'm in calculus 3(its like calculus 2 but in 3 dimensions).

From this thread, I learned that video cameras have a dangerosity of 60 kiloswords per second.  Thanks again, Mad Max.

I'm majoring In computer science, and because of that have nothing interesting to say.

Ah, I haven't yet learned any languages good for making games in, just java >.<

btw , I want to make a text-based game in java, but I don't know what to make it about.

I want to take conditional probability for it's difficulty, and mind-bending properties.

I wanna go read computer science too, It's actually something I wouldn't mind doing. Unlike well, everything else. Forensics could be cool, but well...

Example with HIV is kinda bad, not everyone gets themselves tested!

Yeah I was looking at materials mainly because there are a lot of jobs avaliable in that area around the world. You can get a job designing in the oil industry, food industry, and metal industries. I also enjoy my chemistry, physics and calculus, so this seemed the best way to put all three to use. I was also considering mechatronics engineering or biomedical engineering, because of the robotoyic aspect. I've always had a fascination with robots.

Just entered my second year of my Chemical Engenering bachelor. I'll probably be looking at a major in the direction of Molecular Engeneering or Process Engeneering, but I'm not quite sure yet.

I've a BA in History (as of earlier this year).  Should've gone into science, though, then I could say I have a BS.  :P

(Actually, I probably should've gone into science because it's a more useful area of study which I still enjoy and am good at...)

But really he's just a softie inside. They all are really. When megabeasts come to your fort you never welcome them inside and give them a hug, do you. You heartless bastards...
