BTW, the game is getting along, however slowly.

I'm bogged down helping new programmers.
(Not that I don't enjoy it)

Okay, so I've gotten past a rather simple bug, which I thought was much worse,
 and things are back on the lamb again.

I'm working on a very interesting feature right now,
 which I think will really give my game personality.

Expect trees to be completely better soon.
I'd like to have it done by tomorrow,
 but I've sort of learned my limits and tendencies.

Here are some new pictures, of my rejuvenated tree creation code.

Things are getting out of hand without some sort of cave-in system,
 as these trees require cohesion.

They don't grow yet, or dry up, or absorb water,
 but they will soon.
Then we can get some working ecosystems in,
 and some player well-being.

I've got another odd bug that I'm going to try solving it today,
 at which point things will be much better off,

Could you improve the viewing mechanism? Making small tunnels is very hard when the camera is either inside and looking at the tunnel shape, on the other side of the terrain and looking at the grass above the tunnel, or in the tunnel with no real way to see where the character really is. That or being able to hold the rotate buttons would be nice.
